A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME.

Thanks for wondering.

I love to create with and for people.

From what I’ve learned, design is an act of service to others.

I am driven by:

  1. Asking curious questions

  2. Embracing a posture of childlike wonder

  3. Cultivating a deep appreciation for beauty.

I live in the small details, the hidden meanings, and immersive experiences.

I love old things. I love things that serve a purpose, and serve it well. I am a fan of analog tools and processes, and things that stand the test of time. In my free time, I shoot and develop film, collect books, and handwrite letters to my grandpa. Within design, I take much of my inspiration from the past—from designers such as Saul Bass, Massimo Vignelli, Paul Rand, and Lance Wyman—who pioneered graphic design and set the standard for excellence and functionality. I have found that—for a lot of my projects—going to the computer should be the last step of my process, so I attempt to involve as much pen on paper within my process as I can, whether that be in the form of sketching, journaling, or writing lists.

I am also a collector. I see beauty everywhere in the world around me, and I attempt to capture it however I can.
